Ontario Underwater Council

OUC Club Fees:

• Non-Training Club $150
• Training Club $550

OUC Individual Member Fees:

• BLUE Members $50
  • A Blue Member may be selected by their Club’s executive as their club’s voting delegate at the OUC Annual General Meeting (AGM).

• GOLD Members $67
  • OUC Members may choose to be Gold Members which provides them the option to have their own vote at the OUC AGM rather than be represented by the club’s delegate.
    .
• GOLD LIFETIME Members – no charge!
  • Recipients of the Lt. Cdr. Ken Grant Memorial Trophy are given Gold Lifetime Membership which includes lifetime membership in OUC.

OUC Payment:

• By eTransfer: Send payment to:  payment@underwatercouncil.com
• By Cheque: Payable to Ontario Underwater Council
  1. eMail a photo of both the front and the back of your cheque to payment@underwatercouncil.com
  2. Then follow up by using postal mail to send the cheque to:
     Peter Kalanderopoulos, OUC Finance Director,  3131 Bridletowne Circle, PH 7,  Toronto, ON, M1W 2S9
• Include your club name on the eTransfer or cheque.

OUC Official Membership Status:

• Pay your Club Fee (Non-Training Club $150 – or – Training Club $550)
• Plus: Join OUC with at least six club members.
• OUC recommends starting with your Instructors, Divemasters, Directors and Officers to provide continuous liability insurance coverage for dive professionals and your board of directors.

OUC Membership Renewal:

• Club Membership year runs from January 1 to December 31.
• Renew your club membership before December 31 for the following year to avoid any gaps in coverage. A gap in coverage in early January will negate liability insurance coverage for previous years. Many of your Instructors, DMs and Directors rely on OUC for their liability insurance coverage. This is very important!

Use the OUC Club Member Submission Form on Excel:

• OUC Club Membership Submission (Excel spreadsheet) – Click the BLUE BUTTON above to download the spreadsheet to your Downloads folder.
• Go to your Downloads folder and open the OUC Excel Membership Submission Spreadsheet.xlsx
• “Save As” with your club’s name and the date in the filename.xlsx
• Add your information to the spreadsheet and save.
• Email the completed form to: membership@underwatercouncil.com

  • OUC’s advocacy role in keeping and expanding hyperbaric facilities within Ontario
